Valentine’s Day
NP: Taking Back Sunday
February 14th is the day where every single person in the world feels the most alone. I happen to be one of those single people but over the past few months I’ve learned a lot. Sure, I may feel a bit lonely that day, knowing that I have no significant other to care about but I’ve learned that I don’t need a guy to make me happy. I have a great group of friends that are there for me when I need them to be and they’ve filled the hole I had in my heart. Some people aren’t as lucky as me to have friends that I love and trust. Being lonely on Valentine’s Day for people shouldn’t be about feeling sad about not having a boyfriend/girlfriend. Everyone has that one friend in their life that makes them feel less lonely. Valentine’s Day is a day about loving those who you care for. I think most people only focus on the boyfriend/girlfriend aspect of this holiday but people should look at it from another angle. Love everyone you care for that day, not just your significant other.
